Saw this Jeep while walking yesterday. Pardon the shitty pictures, I am terrible at photography.
But yeah, excusing the shitty pictures, I have a question: what are your ethics for taking car photos? Personally, I won't try to get a better angle if I have to trespass private property, but I will leave license plates uncovered since they're normally out in public anyway. Is this a fair ethic?

I say it's fair. I have never understood the point of covering a license plate.

Me neither. Although in Ontario you could (if you want) take that plate and get an owneriship history of the car.

So...you gonna come to drive across the river this year? Last year and some other Ottawa Oppo's drove our cars across on the ice road. Ice roads are the best roads.

Sweeeet! Last year Zippy got a ride, so I am sure this year either me or someone else could come get you. Just got to schedule it...probably will be in Jan, ice road needs time to thicken.

I think it's common courtesy to block out the licence plates on a picture of a car that you post on the internet, unless you have talked to the owner and they are okay with you posting pictures that show the licence plate, since you can use it to look up information about the owner, and some people may see it as a violation of their privacy.
